what about our ipods?

well recently I've (we've) all been watching "Geo hots" blog "on the iPhone" for the updates from blackra1n to limera1n which i don't know about you but I'm excited. limera1n should be the mother of all unlocks and maybe even unlock the ipad which would be quite amazing if you ask me. well i have a 3g 3.1.3 ipt and if anyone of you know the recent firmware 3.1.3 has been very annoying to say the least for none of us knew that the jailbreak (limera1n) wouldn't be out and that the regular (blackra1n) doesn't jailbreak 3.1.3 so all of us who installed the latest firmware.......well we are all screwed until limera1n which was speculated to release April 30 (yesterday) has not come. and most now predict it won't come out until the next iphone firmware which is 3.2.0 which is suppose to release in July so we are all sitting here slamming our iPhone/ipods against a wall. but there is hope for some of you and its DOWNGRADING! well I'm sure you are thinking whats the big deal then just downgrade and wait for limera1n? well its not that easy apple and there infinite wisdom have quit signing 3.1.2 downgrade or any for that mater which pretty much leaves us all screwed again. well if you are a hacker and tried going to local disk/windows/windows32/etc/hosts and typing in the code "which i tried" and saving the file well didn't work for me you have would have had to jailbroken your iphone previosly and save some files or something like that so if you didn't do that well your out of luck. but if your like me your probably getting pretty use to sitting and starring at a wall until Geo hot releases a future up date. by the way please for the love of god don't go to Geo hot and ask when limera1n will be released he wont tell you and it will just make him mad besides it wont come any sooner asking him so please just wait which irreversibley is easier said then done.
